With Bentley's 100th anniversary coming up next year, the Mulliner division is celebrating its founder with a special edition Mulsanne. It pays homage to the company's founder, W.O. Bentley, and even contains a piece of one of his cars.
The special model which is available on a regular or long-wheelbase Mulsanne or Mulsanne Speed was inspired by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley that W.O. was using as his personal vehicle. The influence of the car can be felt throughout the interior as well as the Mulliner illuminated cocktail cabinet, which has a display window with an original crankshaft of the 8 Litre display inside.
Other highlights include a chrome application running back to the side of the vehicle, with an air vent with a photoetched B shape that incorporates W.O. bentley smart key is modeled after 1930s-appropriate Onyx, and there's a chrome cladding around the lower spoilers on the left and right. The front grille has unique design, with a chrome shell replacing the body-colored mesh of Mulsanne. It also includes the Flying B Logo.
The key box is decorated with Bentley wings and is fitted with an black flock lining. Key pouches are available to be bought to match or contrast the key box. The set of commemorative items includes a 1:18 scale model and a flying "B" paperweight. It also contains a printed booklet featuring never-before seen images of the original Bentley 8 Litre.
